I couldn't keep this thing upright whether it had one tablet in it or six. It was lop-sided even when it came out of the box. Don't waste your money on this thing. There must be better products out there.More detail ...

If you own a swimming pool I think it's important to own a Floating Chlorine Dispenser. It's a great place to keep your chlorine tablets.



Plus whenever you head out of town there's a greater chance you will come home to a better-looking pool if you choose to put two or three chlorine tablets in this floater. As you know chlorine is important for swimming pool water. Putting chlorine tablets inside this floater will make the pool water clean and safe.



However I recommend you tie the floater to the side of the pool instead of letting it float around. That's because if the pool is running the floater might get stuck in the filter. Always make sure the chlorine floater is tied to the side away from the filter.More detail ...

The tablets disentigrated in my floater on the first day the bromine level went right off the charts (mid green is 20ppm and it turned the test strip aqua blue!) I didnt even realize it until i had already been sitting in it for a while :(

Sturdy and Priced Right

I live in Florida where the sun's UV breaks down and rots anything plastic that remains outdoors 24/7. That particularly includes chlorine floats if you don't have a covered pool. You *might* get 2 years out of a float before the top crumbles and you have to toss it. I spent almost $15.00 (not including tax) on the same type of pool float from a chain pool supply company whose name (I won't say it) implies frugality - NOT! This float even with shipping is a steal. It's well made and durable and large enough to hold 5 standard sized chlorine tabs. The top stays locked. The adjustable "vent" at the bottom to regulate "flow" against the tabs is easy to open and close and actually stays put where you set it. Given that I'll probably have to replace it in a year (2 if I'm lucky) this product is a winner. I'm going to buy a spare just to have on hand. More detail ...
